Gobelo - More than a name

If you’ve been following our journey, you know that Gobelo isn’t just another project. It’s something deeply personal, something rooted in who we are and what we stand for. But before we dive deeper into what we’re building, we thought we’d take a step back and share the story behind the name itself.

Gobelo is a local indigenous word that speaks to the idea of a meeting place. A space where people come together. From the very beginning, that’s exactly what we envisioned. A place where meals are shared, cultures intertwine and traditions live on. A place where ideas take shape, where hands work side by side and where the simple act of gathering can spark something bigger.

It started with a feeling. We wanted Gobelo to be more than a farm, more than a marketplace, more than a dining experience. We wanted it to be a culture, a way of life. Everything we do, from tending to the land to crafting flavors in our kitchens, happens together. The farm team prepares herbs, dries spices and bottles up the essence of our forests. The artisans create, the foragers bring in wild fruits and nuts and the chefs transform it all into the farm-to-table flavors you know and love. It’s a rhythm of collaboration, a cycle of creation and it’s what makes Gobelo what it is.

And while Gobelo started with us, it was never meant to be just ours. It’s about community. About creating spaces where people - local farmers, artisans and food innovators - can build something of their own. We see a future where every village has its own Gobelo space, where knowledge is passed down, where children learn the stories behind the food they eat, where traditions aren’t just remembered but lived.

This is just the beginning. One day, Gobelo will be a true conjugate community, blending flavors, stories and craftsmanship into an experience that reaches beyond just one place. We’re building something different. Something unique. And we’re doing it together.

So when you hear the name Gobelo, know that it’s more than a name. It’s a gathering, a movement and a culture in the making. And if you’re reading this, you’re already a part of it.
